A Diving Course for All Man Kinds.

Skin diving is a type of snorkeling that is similar to free diving, but adapted to suit people of all abilities.

All those who have completed the course will be able to use the 3 pieces of snorkeling equipment: mask, snorkel and fins correctly and control their buoyancy on the surface of the water safely and independently. They will also be able to practice holding their breath and dive underwater to a depth of 5 meters safely.

Short-term skin diving course is suitable for guests staying at Koh Talu Island Resort who can spend 2-3 hours in the afternoon learning in the pool or shallow water of the sea so that they can safely go diving the next day according to the resort's program.

Taught by Diving Instructors from Koh Talu Dive Center, certified by SSI (Scuba School International) and BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club).

Those who complete the course will receive a SSI (Scuba School International) Snorkel Diver card as a digital card in the MySSI application.

Study Program

Snorkeling Theory and Understanding (30 minutes)

Practice using diving equipment and diving skills in a pool or in the ocean (1-1:30 hours)

Swimwear and/or appropriate clothing for swimming and diving.

Scuba diving equipment: mask, snorkel, fins (if available). If not, you can use the Dive Center's equipment.

Registration for a certificate (Digital Certificate Card) from SSI Institute
The SSI (Scuba School International) certification is issued by dive centers and instructors accredited by SSI, a diving organization in the International Recreational Scuba Training Council (WRTSC) that offers diving courses that are audited to ISO standards.
Those who have received a Snorkel Diving certificate can use it to show to the officers of some National Parks, such as Surin Islands National Park, which will allow only divers who have completed Snorkel, Skindive and Freedive courses and have a certificate to use fins for snorkeling.

Register (Sing in) by filling in personal information to open the membership system.

Click on the Dive Center menu and search for Koh Talu Dive Center, then click on Apply to be an Affiliate Dive Center (this step will link your membership system to Koh Talu Dive Center as a new student).
